Antique Edwardian Gold Filled Locket Bullet Shape Engraved Cover Initials MS
A gorgeous unusual Edwardian bullet locket in yellow gold filled metal. Beautifully made, the edges are hand carved and the covers are engraved with a pinstripe pattern. The front cover is engraved with the initials MS.
It has a custom hinged bail in a lovely shape, instead of the usual two rings. The shape resembles the letter A in an Art Nouveau font.
There are two photos inside the locket. The covers are original and a bit yellowed. The frames are present and are original.
The maker s mark is engraved on one of the two frames, but it is not legible. We are not aware of any other marks as we didn’t want to disturb the photos.
It measures 1 11/16 inches (43mm) tall and 3/4 inch (19mm) wide at the widest point.
The chain shown in the photo is sold separately. This listing is just for the locket.
The condition is very good, it presents much better in person.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
