A beautifully made miniature world globe rendered as a fully dimensional orb. Deep lapis-blue enamel forms the oceans, crossed by fine gold-tone longitude and latitude lines, while the continents are individually inlaid with colorful gemstones and shell.
Africa is represented in opal and North America in luminous mother-of-pearl. Additional materials include rhodolite garnet, yellow jasper, and iridescent abalone. Solid rather than hollow, the globe has a satisfying weight and a hinged clip bail for easy attachment to a chain, charm bracelet, or suitable link.
