A lovely gold filled shell cameo pendant necklace, perfect for a stack of necklaces or to wear alone.

Description
This beautiful hand-carved shell cameo necklace dates from the 1930s. Made of 1/20 12k Gold Filled.
The cameo is framed by a handmade wire frame that has been shaped and textured and includes four prongs holding the cameo itself.
The frame is very nicely detailed, and so is the carving. The date is based on the style of hair and features of the woman depicted.
This is not a mass-produced imitation. It is an authentic hand-carved shell cameo, likely from Italy.
The pendant measures approximately 1 3/16″ tall, including the built-in custom bail. It is 13/16″ at the widest point.
The pendant is marked 1/20 12l on the reverse. It has a partial maker’s mark “REC”.
Completing the necklace is a delicate but strong rope chain, 18 inches long and 1 mm thick. It is marked 14k 20 for 1/20 14k gold filled.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
