Description
A beautiful vintage Mexican Art Deco green onyx sterling bracelet dating from the 1930s. It measures approximately 1 1/2 inches wide and fits wrists up to 6 inches.
This bracelet is made by hand, not cast, and not mass-produced. The fancy marquise shape links alternate between an all sterling silver link, and a sterling set with a large marquise green onyx.
Each link is finished by open work. The stones and sterling shapes are bezel set and finished with a delicate rope wire. It is gorgeous.
The green onyx marquise cabochons measure an estimated 30 mm tall by 10mm at the widest point. They rise 8mm above the wrist.
The bracelet is in very good condition with light signs of wear consistent with age. There is some patina which enhances the details.
The only marks are “sterling” and Mexico, dating it to the first half of the 20th century. It weighs approximately 36 grams. It was carefully tested.
