Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Abalone Parrot Bypass Ring
This fun vintage Mexican sterling silver and abalone parrot bypass ring size can be easily adjusted. It is currently size 7 US and can be made smaller or a bit larger by bringing the ends closer or further apart.
It is nicely detailed and set with a colorful abalone shell inlay on the parrot’s neck. It is also comfortable to wear as it sits flush with the hand.
The parrot’s head is approximately 1/2″ tall. The back displays a partial mark, “Taxco, FAP”. The maker is unknown. Estimated to date from the 1970s.
We recommend removing the ring before dipping your hands in water to preserve the abalone shell inlay. It is in very good vintage condition.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
