This beautiful ring features a natural, untreated moonstone set horizontally across the finger. The stone is cut as a high-domed oval sugarloaf cabochon, giving it more presence and height than a standard cabochon. In the light, the moonstone shows soft blue adularescence, with flashes that move across the surface and give the stone its luminous, almost glowing quality.
The setting is crafted in sterling silver with a substantial tapered band. Openwork shoulders on each side of the bezel create a flowing, Celtic-inspired or organic scrollwork look, adding interest while keeping the ring comfortable and wearable.
The moonstone is especially lovely in person; its blue flash and height are difficult to fully capture in photos. The stone is estimated at 9mm by 12mm and rises approximately 19mm above the hand. It appears clean under magnification and free from visible inclusions.
The ring is marked 925, tested as sterling silver, and has no maker’s mark. It remains in excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and previous wear.
