A vintage 1920s–1930s Navajo sterling silver cuff bracelet with early stamped arrow designs, uncommon lizard-like markings, and Fred Harvey era style.
This hand wrought cuff has a wonderful early Southwest character, with two raised silver rails across the front, applied arrow forms, and a hand stamped background of arrows, sunburst flowers, crescent shapes, geometric accents, and unusual lizard-like stamps at each end. The darkened recesses bring out the stamped decoration and give the bracelet the beautifully worn surface expected from older Navajo silver.
The bracelet reflects the Fred Harvey era style of the 1920s–1930s, when smaller-scale Native American silver jewelry was made for wearability, travel, and collecting. It is petite in stature, measuring approximately 6.35 inches around the inside including the gap, and is best suited for a smaller wrist or for someone who loves close-fitting cuffs.
The bracelet is unmarked, which is consistent with many earlier Navajo and old pawn silver pieces made before standardized maker marking became common. The metal tests as silver and may be sterling silver or coin silver, as both were used in early Southwestern jewelry.
