Description
Gorgeous 14k gold and blue Spinel Arts & Crafts Period stick pin by Ostby and Barton. Better known for their outstanding rings, Ostby & Barton were the largest fine jewelry makers at the turn of the 20th Century. Mr. Ostby picked the stones himself on a yearly buying trip. He perished in the Titanic.
Pin measures 2.25″ long overall. The shield shape setting is 7/16″ by 7/16″ and has an abstract cut out design. Blue Spinel is bezel set, measuring an estimated 3.5mm in diameter.
Ca 1900’s excellent condition, marked OB 14k on pin stem. Pin is in excellent condition and ships with a new clutch, which is not pictured.
