Description
A pretty Peking jade silver Czech glass bracelet with an unusual snap clasp. It likely dates from the 1950s.
The custom chain is composed of alternating links. One oval set with an oval Czech glass Peking jade cabochon and one oval with an applied flower set with a small round cabochon at the center.
The bracelet measures 7 inches long when the clasp is closed. It is 14mm wide.
The larger oval cabochon has a serrated bezel setting. The floweres have raised petals, Both rypes of link have a beaded edge.
The condition is excellent. The clasp closes and holds. The plating is intact.
There is a slight patina through out that enhances the details. It is not marked.
Peking Jade is the name given to glass that imitates Jadeite gemstone. It is a vibrant mottled green and very pretty!
