Vintage Retro Amethyst Glass Drops Gold Filled Necklace
This gorgeous vintage necklace has five drops, each composed of a round bezel-set faux amethyst link and a fluted drop shape gold-filled bead finished by a round gold-filled bead. The center is made of custom links, and a Rolo chain completes the necklace. It measures 16″ long. Each drop is 1 1/8″ long.
Very well made, finished with an older spring ring clasp with a beveled edge instead of the customary tab. Based on this, we date it to the late 1930s, right at the end of the Art Deco Era and the beginning of the Retro Era.
The necklace is in excellent condition. It weighs approximately 9.5 grams. It is marked “Sturdy, 1/20 12k” on the ring opposite the clasp. It drapes beautifully and looks so rich!

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
