Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Shell Cameo Pendant Necklace
This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver framed carved shell cameo pendant necklace. The bezel setting includes a gold rope trim. The cameo is beautifully carved and nicely detailed.
The pendant measures 1 1/8″ long including the bail. It is 9/16″ at the widest point and 1/4″ deep at the highest point.
It was found with a vintage but not as old sterling silver rolo chain that is approximately 16″ long. The chain is likely from the 50s, the cameo from the late 1900s.
In excellent condition, the chain is marked, the pendant was carefully tested. There is a warm patina overall that enhances the details.
