Vintage Genuine Carved Stone Scarab Gold Filled Bracelet 7 Inches
Four assorted carved oval cabochons alternating with large single oval chain links. The stones are green onyx, black onyx, unakite, and tigereye. The bracelet is finished by a lobster claw clasp.
Each cabochon is hand carved on both sides. The top is a scarab, the backs are stylized hieroglyphs. It is estimated to date from the 1970s when Tutankhamun s treasures were the highlight of an exhibit at MOMA in New York, starting a new Egyptian Revival.
The bracelet measures 7 inches long and 1/4 inch wide.
The cabochons measure 7/16 inch (11mm) by 5/16 inch (8mm) each.
In excellent condition with light signs of age. The clasp works well and the gold surface is rich.
