Set of 2 Vintage Mid Century Fish Art Pottery Vases Pitchers SignedUnique matching pair of glazed clay fish with tails as handles. These are pitchers or vases. Each measures approx. 11″ tall by 7″ wide by 4″ deep. One weighs 2 pounds, and the other is 2 lbs. 9 oz.
One fish is signed MF dated 49 for 1949, plus has a pencil dedication under the glaze which reads “Best of Luck.” The other is signed MF and dated 49. Manfred Frey is known for his white bisque work for Keiser, Germany. My feeling is these were made as gifts (they are dedicated) and are very likely one of a kind.
In good vintage condition. One has a small chip on the inside of the lip that is not obvious. No cracks or repairs.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
