An elegant vintage Sheaffer Imperial ballpoint pen in 12K gold filled metal, richly engraved and chased with the sought-after Grapes and Leaves pattern.
Made in the United States circa 1960s–70s, the slim pen features Sheaffer’s signature White Dot and ingenious Reminder Clip mechanism. Pressing the clip extends the ballpoint tip; pressing near the White Dot retracts it, preventing the pen from being clipped into a pocket while open.
The pen is fully functional and writes smoothly in black ink. The remaining ink level is unknown, so the cartridge will eventually require replacement. It accepts replaceable Sheaffer-style ballpoint refills.
In excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age. The polished personalization panel remains unmonogrammed.
