Outstanding hand painted mixed media box purse.

Signed by the artist Genevieve Harris.

Sea scape with wildlife, primarily birds.

There are seagulls and pelicans.

The birds are raised from the background.

Seashells on lid are real shells.

There is so much detail, even a light house.

Handle is twisted marbled white Lucite.

Inside is covered with light blue velvet.

In very good condition with minor loss on upper left of front above the seagull.

Clasp needs polishing, minor staining to the inside fabric mostly due to age.

Mirror is in good condition but the little ends of the finish are coming loose.

Overall measurements are approximately 8 3/16″ wide by 4 7/8″ tall not including the handle.

Depth is 4 1/8″.

Handle clearance from center of arch to purse lid is 4 3/4″.

This purse is a hand bag, will not go over the shoulder.

Great to have on your dresser. You can use it for you make up or perfume bottles.

Estimated to date from the 1960’s.

Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
