Description

A vintage Southwestern sterling silver ring centered with a blue-green teardrop turquoise cabochon. The stone rests in a traditional serrated bezel surrounded by applied scrolls, silver drops, and a finely detailed leaf.

A small domed silver drop below the turquoise is stamped with a radiating sunburst. This traditional decorative stamp resembles rays of sunlight, while the accompanying leaf is individually engraved to emphasize its veins and curved form.

The setting rises from split shoulders that merge into a comfortable 3 mm band. Its open construction and balanced arrangement give the ring a graceful presence without excessive weight.

Signed with the maker’s initial “K” and marked “Sterling” in script. The workmanship is consistent with Southwestern Native American jewelry and is likely Navajo, although the maker has not been identified.

Excellent vintage condition. The turquoise is secure and free from visible chips, and the serrated bezel, applied scrolls, leaf, and silver drops remain complete. The silver retains a light aged patina with darker recessed details.
