Description
Vintage Sterling Silver Cufflinks Lot Many Signed – 180 Gr Not Scrap – In Excellent Condition with light patina.
This lot contains 20 items total. There are 17 cufflink pairs plus 3 tie clips, making 3 sets. All pieces are sterling, a pair or two of the Mexican sets have alpaca bars. The total approximate weight of this lot is 180 grams.
Details are as follows, please refer to the photos where they are numbered:
1) Large Art Deco Era round cinnabar cameo depicting a farmer and the harvest and the year 1921. The back is marked KE, Handmade and Sterling, approximately 1 1/8 inches in diameter.
2) All sterling silver cufflinks with cutout Arabic calligraphy, about 13/16 of an inch in diameter. Could not find a mark, acid tested as sterling.
3) Siam Niello cufflinks and tie clip. Oval cufflinks about 1 inch by 3/4 inches. Marked Sterling and Siam.
4) Masonic/Elks cufflinks and tie clip with enameled details. About 3/4 inches by 5/8 inches. Marked LAMODE and Sterling.
5) Mexican Mayan Calendar cufflinks marked Hecho En Mexico, 925, GZK and an unclear Eagle mark. The hardware is not sterling, just the faces are.
6) Mid Century style square with light blue stones at the ends of the bars. Marked Krementz Sterling.
7) Antique bean type cufflinks with gorgeous marquise shaped abalone shell cabochons on both sides. Marked Sterling.
8) Black Onyx squares with brushed silver appliques. Marked Sterling.
9) Fairly large hand carved Golden Obsidian masks set in sterling silver. Marked Sterling, 925, and Eagle marks that are not legible. It is 7/8 inches tall.
10) An interesting design, they are 3/4 inches at the widest point, marked Sterling, and have a double articulated back.
11) A Mexican Calendar design from the Mid Century Era, engraved on silver. The sterling is insetfront and back into a black circle. Not sure what the black material is, could be stone or acrylic. It is not marked, tests as sterling.
12) A handsome Modernist oval with deeply textured surface, set with an oval natural turquoise cabochon. Very well made, the stem and swivel bars are textured. Marked Sterling on the stem.
13) A filigree rectangle with applied Yiddish calligraphy. About 7/8 by 11/16 inches. Unmarked, tests as sterling. The stem is not silver.
14) A Mexican Sombrero hat set of cufflinks and tie bar. The hats are about 3/4 inch in diameter. Marked Mexico Sterling, the maker s mark is partially covered.
15) Antique Edwardian bean type cufflinks hand engraved with initials on one side, the other is blank. Marked Sterling on the stem.
16) Minimalist and elegant ovals, could use a machine polishing to look their best. Marked Wells and Sterling
17) A true pair of cuff links, octagonal in shape, marked Sterling WD Co on the stem. One side is hand engraved with the HM.
All in good to excellent condition.
