A beautifully matched strand of vintage cultured pearls in a warm cream color with a subtle golden blush. Measuring approximately 5.5mm, the round to near-round pearls display good luster, mostly smooth surfaces, and the slight natural variations expected of cultured pearls.
Each pearl is individually hand knotted. The thread remains secure and supple, without visible fraying or loose pearls, allowing the strand to drape and flow beautifully. At approximately 29 inches, the necklace has an elegant opera-length silhouette and a satisfying weight when worn.
This is a continuous strand without a clasp and slips over the head. Depending on hand and wrist size, it may also be wrapped several times and worn as a multi-strand pearl bracelet.
Some photographs show the necklace styled with an antique turquoise and seed-pearl bar pin. The pearls have a remarkably compatible color and glow; however, the brooch is not included and is available separately.
