A loupe-clean emerald-cut Swiss blue topaz glows from the center of this substantial geometric sterling silver ring. Measuring approximately 12 × 10 × 4mm, the mounted gemstone calculates to about 4 carats. Its raised protective bezel rests within a deeply oxidized rectangular frame bordered by lightly textured silver.
Hand-fabricated circa the 1980s, this Postmodern studio ring is marked “Sterling” and signed with an illegible maker’s mark. It remains in excellent vintage condition with a secure, chip-free gemstone, light surface wear and no damage or repairs.
