This antique equestrian watch fob pendant is crafted in gold filled metal and decorated with delicate multicolor champlevé enamel. The front features an engraved horse motif framed by arched panels, with engraved horseshoes positioned at the four cardinal points.
The enamel palette includes soft pastel tones of pink, purple, yellow, green, and blue. One side displays a purple enamel ground, while the reverse is finished in pink, giving the piece visual interest from both sides.
The enamel remains intact with no losses. Light patina and minor areas of gilding wear are present, consistent with age, and do not detract from the overall presentation.
Originally intended for wear on a watch chain, the fob adapts easily to modern styling and can be worn as a pendant on a necklace or added to a layered fob arrangement.
