Description

Twenty-one round turquoise cabochons burst across the domed surface of this unusual sterling silver Sputnik ring. Each stone is individually prong set above an open, radiating wirework basket, creating a sculptural profile with vivid variations of blue and blue-green.

Hand-fabricated circa the 1960s, the ring is unmarked with its maker and origin unidentified. It remains in excellent vintage condition with secure stones and heavy natural patina that emphasizes the construction.
