A striking circa 1920s–1930s Art Deco bracelet by Ostby & Barton, crafted in rhodium-finished sterling silver filigree and centered by a vivid sapphire-blue foiled glass stone. Geometric chevrons frame the square faceted stone, while finely pierced scrollwork gives the substantial 36-gram bracelet a lace-like appearance.
The rigid clamper construction has a single hinge and secure push clasp. Ostby & Barton was a prominent Providence, Rhode Island jewelry manufacturer known for finely made American jewelry. An interior tag bears the company’s OB mark.
