This antique Victorian hair locket necklace includes an exquisite book chain that can be worn alone or with other pendants. The links are bold and alternate a peak and flower pattern. The necklace is gold filled.
The locket is beautiful too, hand engraved on both sides. The inner covers are glass. Sadly one is cracked but they are both original.
Chain measurements are 16.5" long, 5/16" at the widest and 1/4" at the deepest point.
Locket measures 1 7/16" tall including the jump ring, by 15/16" at the widest and 3/8" deep at the center.
Necklace and locket are in very good condition overall. There is light wear to the locket, which is estimated to date from the 1880's.

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement.
