Antique Victorian Garnet Seed Pearl Halo 14k Gold Ring

This beautiful Victorian ring will have you feeling like royalty. The garnet is a beautiful shade of red.The colors reveal itself as the light dances through the facets.

The setting is oval, approximately 14mm by 12mm wide. It rises 5mm above the hand.

The lovely faceted garnet is relatively large. Garnet tends to form is smaller crystals. This faceted oval is estimated to measure 9mm by 7mm by 5mm at the deepest point. Its weight is estimated at 2.46 carats.

The halo is formed by tiny natural pearls. They are not cultured, the ring predates cultured pearls. It was made in the Late Victorian Period in the 1890s to 1900s.

The settings shoulders are hand engraved or carved, the metal is pierced to emphasize the design.

The ring size is 4.75 US. It can be sized, please inquire with the desired size.

The marks are stamped on the inside of the band. They are “14k, SI” The maker is not identified.

Carefully tested, the approximate total weight is 5 grams.

This beautiful ring is very good condition for its age but several pearls have luster loss. They can be replaced but we prefer the original ones. It does not detract from the overall beauty of the ring and serves as witness to its long history.

Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
