Description
Beautiful antique Waltham ladies pocket watch pendant with manual wind movement in a beautiful gold filled case.
Measuring 1 and 7/8 inches, including the bow, it is 1 and 3/8 inches wide and 3/8 inches deep at the center.
The open face case is gold filled, marked “Guaranteed 20 years” for 14k gold filled. It is in outstanding condition. Beautifully engraved and machine turned on the hinged back cover. The cartouche on the back is blank, and you can have initials engraved.
The crystal is in very good condition—beveled glass and likely original to the watch.
The white enameled dial has sunken seconds, Arabic number markers in black, and minutes in red on the outer portion. There is a small light spot that would probably lift with a cleaning. There is no damage, no cracks, or lost enamel.
The movement is beautiful, machine-turned and hand-engraved. It reads ” A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass, 18434991″. The last is the serial number, which dates the watch to approximately 1912.
This is a relatively heavy watch at 32 grams, about one ounce.
This pocket watch runs, winds, sets, and keeps useful time. It has not been serviced. We cannot guarantee it will continue to perform as it does now. All our watches are sold as found.
