Description
This vintage Egyptian Revival bracelet comes directly from Egypt, purchased as a souvenir by the original owner. It is a classic design with many traditional elements including the Winged Disk (the Sun), the Eye of Horus, A lotus flower, a tower and several hieroglyphs.
On smaller wrists, it fits more like a bangle. On larger wrists it will fit as a cuff. It opens and has a hook and eye closure. It can be custom fitted to your wrist size and shape by a skilled silversmith but it is not necessary.
Inside maximum circumference is 7 1/2″.
The bracelet is impressive, makes a statement. It is almost 1 1/8″ at the widest point at the center. It tappers to the back which is 3/8″ wide.
It is hallmarked with an Arabic symbol and tests well for sterling silver. It is in excellent condition, includes the Cairo shop’s green suede like pouch.
