Lot of 20 Vintage Costume Jewelry Brooches Flowers Bugs Birds + Monet Box
This is a great lot including:
1 Wendell August Forge Hammered Aluminum Brooch from the 1950s
2 Owls (Monet, Avon), both adorable. The Monet one has great detail, a beautiful finish, and green eyes. The Avon holds a solid perfume (empty) and is an icon of 1970s design.
2 Bug Pins: a Bee and a Cicada in jewel tone blue and green(unsigned), well made and detailed, probably 1990s.1 Scottie Dog – nicely made. The pin stop is marked Avon, but there are no marks on the dog pin itself.
1 hand-carved wood Swordfish with a glass eye (adorable, well made),
1 white enamel Seagull, very nicely done and detailed.
1 rhinestone Starburst / Sunburst, beautifully made and sparkly, Rhodium plated, pot metal, unsigned. It is an older brooch, maybe 1960s.
1 antiqued silver Spoon, set with a faux pearl, Baroque style.
1 large oval flower basket reminiscent of DeMario designs, unsigned. Very nice piece, intricately built, with some loss of enamel here and there, and one single flat back rhinestone missing, which is barely noticeable. Neither detracts from it.
1 made by hand, sculpted blue and silver rose, made of polymer, beautiful rendition.
1 French Jet or black rhinestone double bunch of grapes made of black enameled metal. It’s gorgeous.
1 huge, long rose on a stem brooch. The metal is light gold tone, there are rhinestones at the center of the rose, which is a light coral color with areas of yellow and light green leaves. It is 5″ long!
1 stylized flower from the early 50s Retro era in rose-y gold.1 Good Luck bar pin formed of green enamel clovers centered by a rhinestone set horseshoe.1 gold tone delicate flower basket set with five real garnets as flowers. The stones were tested and are not glass.
1 oval Regency-style brooch set with a large oval amethyst glass stone. The faux pearls lost their luster.
Included in the lot is a Monet collectible box decorated with enameled flowers and a hummingbird, box still in the original packaging. There is wear to the outside of the outer box.
They are great for resale, add to your collection, or as gifts. They can be repurposed too.
In great vintage pre-owned condition.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
