Corn Maidens symbolize all the good things about being a woman. It is a traditional symbol of the Zuni people. This one is so sweet.
All hand carved from mother of pearl shell, she wears a turquoise necklace and her clothing has two coral, two pipestone, and one inlaid dot.
In excellent condition, there is a tiny flower stamp and 925 marks on the bail.
The pendant measures 3/4 inches (19mm) wide and 1 1/2 inches (37mm) tall. It is 1 3/4 inches (45mm) tall with the bail.
The delicate sterling silver box chain is 18 inches long.
