Vintage Signed Ann Dick Modernist Brutalist Textured Link Segmented Necklace Gold Tone
Ann Dick is a designer and artisan who produced from the 1950s through the 1970s. All her jewelry is hand-wrought and most is unsigned. The segments in this necklace are connected using the unmistakable ball U link, her creation.
This necklace is signed on the clasp. Her designs were made in small numbers and signed pieces are harder to find.
This bronze collar necklace measures approximately 14 inches long, including the clasp. All the links are 1/4 inch wide.
It is in excellent condition, with two small areas of black patina as shown in the photos. All other dark areas are ambient reflections.
If you are a science fiction fan, Anne Dick’s husband was Phillippe K Dick, writer, and author of “The Man in the High Castle” made into the streaming series of the same name and “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” which is the source material for the Blade Runner movies.
