Description
Gorgeous antique Victorian gold filled pocket watch chain with a layered fob is very versatile. You can wear it as a pendant, combine it with a longer watchchain and with or without more fobs, and create a unique necklace with lots of styling possibilities.
There are many elements at play in its design. It is composed of two chains joined at the fob. One is 2 1/4 inches long and has a swivel clip or dog clip at the end. The other chain is about 1 inch in length and features a c clasp. The full length, end to end is 3 1/4 inches.
The fob is beautiful, created by layers of metal, it features rose and green flowers which are applied to it. It is a very intricate design that incorporates metal colors, textures, and shapes. 5/8 of an inch tall not including the rings on the top. It is 11/16 of an inch in diameter and 3/8 of an inch deep.
The chain and fob weigh approximately 8.4 grams. The spring ring clasp is marked 1/20 12k but it might be a replacement. Every element was carefully tested.
It is an amazing design, expertly created from high quality materials. The condition is excellent, with light wear consistent with age. Estimated to date from the late 1890s.

- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
