Outstanding workmanship on these beautiful Shibuichi earrings, each adorned with a single Diamond melee.
Shibuichi is a Japanase Metalwork technique. The traditional alloy is 5% Silver and 95% Copper. Variations on this formula have been created by experienced artisans. The alloy is then treated to create the colors. Traditionally a blue gray metallic sheen as can be seen on the reverse of each earring.
Above the iridescent gardenscape is a single genuine Diamond set in Yellow Gold. Karat is unknown, it is not possible to test the tiny settings without damaging these beautiful drops.
Measurements including the ear wire (which is Sterling) is 1 7/8″ long. The drop itself, not inluding the ring or loop on the top is 1 3/8″ long by 6mm wide and 1.5mm thick. They are incredibly comfortable to wear.
