Simply spectacular Vintage Victorian Revival silver plated necklace dating from the 1930’s. This beautiful piece features large disks with chased style flower wreaths and large segments of geometric chased stepped chain. It is similar in style to the best antique watch chains.
Necklace is in excellent condition considering is silver plate over 80 years old. Dating is based on style and the early spring clasp, the necklace is unmarked.
Overall length is approximately 18.5″ or 47cm. The circle at the center is larger and measures 7/8″ or 21mm in diameter. The smallest ones are 11/16″ or 18mm in diameter. The stepped chain segments are 1/2″ or 13mm wide, 3/4″ or 20mm long not including the plain link that joins each to a circle and 3/16″ or 5mm thick.
This is a gorgeous, rare necklace. You can add a pendant or better yet, a silver locket to the center link. It is unmarked and very well made, relatively heavy at 53 grams.
