Description
Vintage Wide Filigree Silver Bracelet with an Intricate Tile Design
Entirely made by hand, a labor of love and skill. Each little segment is cut from wire, shaped, and soldered together. The skill level required for this task is very high. It is well made, and even the clasp is hand-wrought.
Exquisitely detailed filigree pattern, akin to Arabic tiles. This bracelet was likely made in Spain or Portugal.
The design includes eleven hinged panels. Each panel comprises three square tiles with a quatrefoil at the center.
The bracelet is approximately 43mm or 1 11/16 of an inch wide. It measures 7 1/4″ long overall not including the clasp.
It weighs approximately 53.5 grams. There aren’t any marks. It was carefully tested.
It is in superb condition and estimated to date from at least the 1950s, probably older.
