Description
This elegant sterling silver bar pin dates from the Edwardian Era, ca 1910’s. It is fairly wide at 2 5/8″. Lovely open work, the glass paste rhinestones are prong set. The larger stone at the center is bezel set. There are tiny stones scattered on the pattern. Very well made.
The design includes open areas that will display the color of the garment it is pinned on. In excellent condition with lovely light patina. Expertly made, the clasp has a fine safety clasp mostly seen on karat gold pieces. There is no maker’s mark, it is marked only “Sterling”.
