Description
Gorgeous antique Victorian gold-filled pocket watch fob in yellow gold fill. Combine it with a longer watchchain and add more fobs for a unique necklace with lots of styling possibilities.
There are many elements at play in its design. It is composed of two chains, a mesh section, a carved X connector, and two chains that meet at an elaborately made orb adorned with fine twisted wire daisies set with tiny rhodolite garnet simulant cabochons.
The fob measures 5 1/8 inches long. The orb is 5/8 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 7.6 grams.
There are two clasps: a T bar and a swivel clip. The T bar has a spiral pattern.
It is marked ELB, and a star is stamped on the swivel clip.
The condition is excellent, with light wear consistent with age. Estimated to date from the late 1890s.
