Description
This is a gorgeous alternating pattern bar link pocket watch chain from the late Edwardian Era. It measures 13.25 inches long. It is a delicate and intricate pocket watch chain.
The bar links alternate between a two-tone white and yellow gold chevron pattern and a yellow gold filled open work chevron. It is a very interesting pattern you don’t see often.
Each link is approximately 3/4 of an inch long and 3mm wide. They are connected by three plain oval links.
The chain features a spring ring clasp on one end and a swivel clip on the other.
The swivel clap is marked SP for the maker. There are no other marks. The metal is gold filled and was carefully tested. The overall approximate weight is 5.7 grams.
The condition overall is excellent. The clasps work well, and there is very little to no loss of gold.
