Description
This interesting vintage two-tone mixed metal bar link watch chain measures 13.75 inches long.
Each link is a white metal bar with a gold center. There is an inset carved gold filled bar at the center of each link that runs along its length.
The chain has an approximate weight of 8 grams. Each bar link is 11/16 inches long and 1/8 inch at the widest point.
The length allows you to wear it double around the wrist or as a choker necklace. One end features a spring ring clasp, and the other a dog clip.
The chain is marked for the maker, AB Co, or ABCO. There are no quality marks. Both metals test as gold filled.
It is in very good condition. The gold is rich and has no obvious loss. It is very well made with soldered links and joints throughout. It is made to last.

USWatch Chain 1962
This beautiful watch chain replaces one that was stolen from me, along with my Hamilton railroad watch, in 1962. It looks gorgeous with my Bulova pocket watch.
USReplacement of Stolen Chain
This watch chain was the nearest I have found of one that was stolen from me while I was in college in 1962. I bought it as a replacement of that chain. It was very conservatively described, and I am delighted with the condition. In spite of Hurricane Debbie, the chain left the seller very quickly and made its way to Georgia. I won't leave this one on a piano case while I go to the restroom!
