Description
This antique Victorian slide chain lorgnette necklace was designed to hold a pince-nez. For the modern lifestyle is a versatile necklace that is minimalist and romantic at once. This particular one features a lovely barrel-shaped slide adorned with a row of tiny natural seed pearls and delicate canetille work.
The chain is approximately 48 inches long not including the swivel clip. It is composed of small flat oval links that shimmer in the light. The slide is 7mm by 10mm long.
The swivel clasp or dog latch is marked D&C for the maker. The material is gold filled, and was carefully tested. The overall approximate weight is 7 grams.

The condition is very good. The slide does not stay in place.

- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
